In amongst the menswear fashion brands sits one homegrown success story. It’s a label called Raging Bull that was founded by, not a fashionista or style guru, but a rugby legend by the name of Phil Vickery.

Vickery played for England and had an incredible career, and at the pinnacle captained his country to a World Cup final in 2003, to which England later then won and became champions of the world. It was due to his playing style that he was given the nickname of the Raging Bull which was perfect when it came to launching his fledgling clothing company back in that same year.

Raging Bull hired a team of young and talented in-house designers who have consistently created quality, wearable collections inspired by rugby and British heritage that have gained a loyal following over the years. The little bull icon is now increasingly spotted on the chest of an eclectic set of fans including sportsmen, celebrity chefs and tv and movie stars.

This new Autumn/Winter 2020 range does not disappoint the eye and covers all bases. Look out for the new t-shirts of which some reflect the sporting heritage of the brand and others play with the Union Jack motif. Crested polos feature beautiful detailing whilst luxurious cotton/cashmere knitwear deliver on the premium colour choices. Shirts are another area Raging Bull excels at with soft cotton button-down collar shirts in an array of checks and prints, as well as those (perfect for Zoom calls) crisp white and cool blue oxfords.

A sure fire winner for the season must be the 1950s inspired Khaki bomber jacket with ribbed neck detailing and zipped pockets, and is a contemporary garment that Raging Bull has got just right. Another stand out winner includes the new Raglan OTH Hoodie, with a classic stitched logo, which is sure to let you lounge in style.

Colour inspirations are from the usual autumnal tones with olive greens, rich burgundy and caramel balanced by classic navy and dove grey, while still including pockets of colour allowing you to add a splash of vibrancy to your wardrobe.

It is clear to see that Raging Bull is all about the quality of the fabrics and the little extra finishes and details, but yet offer the customer great value for money. This latest collection has a multitude of subtle design detailing from contrast linings, buttons and studs and leather zips, and it all adds up to an Autumn/Winter collection that showcases what style is all about.
