Introducing Artisan Revolution UK handcrafted shoes, made in Northampton. For those of you not in the know, Northampton has 900 years of experience and unrivalled pedigree in producing leather and footwear. The area provided boots for the English Civil War, the American War of Independence and over 2/3rds of the 70 million pairs of footwear for the 1st World War. Not only is this brand now part of this esteemed history but each and every pair of Artisan Revolution leather shoes are made with the finest technique (over 200 processes) for uncompromising quality - from start to finish they take four weeks to craft ensuring that every shoe is allowed sufficient time and attention.

Each pair is handmade, Goodyear welted and completed with a unique burnish. These details help set them apart and give their shoes a defining look and lasting touch. Crafted for the modern man, Artisan Revolution shoes make a statement anywhere you go, at any time of day. The brand stands for individuality, a daringness to think and be different.

For this special collaboration Menswear Style has styled one colourway from each of the brand’s 4 shoes styles for a photoshoot and video edit which took place in London’s King’s Cross area. The 4 shoe models include the Captoe with its signature Oxford style comprising of extra leather stitched to the toe area, the Double Buckle Monk for those who don’t have time for shoelaces, the Semi-Brogue which features the iconic pattern on the cap toe and vamp area, and finally the Wingtip which features a pointed ‘W’ shape top cap.

We also showcase Artisan Revolution’s Azurite colourway - a deep daylight blue, but evening black. Depending on the ambient light, the colour will take on a different hue, developing gradually as you make it your own. With time, Azurite will evolve to tell a story that is truly and uniquely yours.

We turn the spotlight to Goodyear welted shoe by a new Northampton Shoemaker known as Artisan Revolution. We showcase their SS19 collection which features the brand's Azurite colourway.
