Unlike the majority of guys we’re fans of winter here at MWS, it is a time when you can wear coats, knitwear and Tweed suits without feeling too hot and faint. 

For this winter inspired photoshoot in leafy Hampstead we pick out three stylish Uniqlo garments which are perfect for battling the elements this season.

The tapered grey skinny-fit jeans feature a stylish silhouette and stretch for ease of movement. They are made with rigid denim that's only lightly pre-washed for a rich indigo colour.

Stitching and buttons are also selected to match the denim colour. For anyone who may fear skinny jeans, these will probably change your mind. Due to the stretch-fabric they feel light and as comfortable as loungewear. You’ll also see from our images that they’re also not too ridiculously skinny. 

Flannel shirts transcend fashion and will never go out of style. Made from 100% cotton and available in a variety of colours and checks, there is a Uniqlo Flannel shirt for every man and every occasion, to suit every mood.

Dress it up, dress it down or tie it around your waist. A wardrobe staple for all year round. Our choice is a light grey check for just £19.90 and the fabric feels soft and smooth. It’ll certainly keep you warm in the winter too. 

The discreet warmth in this outfit comes from the Uniqlo Ultra Light Down compact vest. Offering you the warmth of down, but without the bulkiness often associated with down outerwear. 

This compact down vest is both lightweight and warm with a sleek design so it can be worn as an outer or inner layer. The snaps down the front and a shallow V-neck make it easy to wear over a variety of tops or even jackets. It also easily folds away into a small pouch – quite a neat trick!
