Just when you thought summer was here the British weather does what it does best and brings us plenty of rain and dull cloudy days. However, lack of sunshine didn’t dampen the diamond jubilee celebrations which was great to see. As usual, I’ve been keeping a keen eye on new product drops and just in time for Father's Day (hint), here's the coolest drops for June 2022. Enjoy!

Citizen Promaster Dive Collection 

The new Promaster Dive, much like the 2006 edition, echoes the orca whale’s black and white livery in its bezel and dial design. Housed in an ergonomic, 46mm stainless steel case whose gentle curves mimic those of the orca’s body, it features a redesigned, unidirectional stainless steel and aluminium bezel whose outer coin edge provides ample purchase for gloved hands, and whose profile sits well above the watch to protect the convex mineral crystal from scratches. A luminous pip at 12 o’clock ensures easy registering of elapsed time while underwater, while a screw-down crown and case back provide 200m of ISO-compliant water resistance.

ellesse X Looney Tunes 

This new collection for men, women and kids includes classic ellesse sports and streetwear styles from sweatshirts to joggers, to oversized t-shirts and track tops, as well as trainers, sliders, and accessories in a pastel and muted tone colour palette. The range is a nod to ellesse’s heritage on the court, featuring tennis-inspired graphics of Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Tasmanian Devil, Lola Bunny, Sylvester The Cat, Daffy Duck and Road Runner. The campaign is also an homage to the Looney Tunes iconic Americana legacy. The 1990s High School inspired imagery is a celebration of a decade defined by popular culture.

Boardies X Liberty 

Boardies has teamed up with Liberty to create a limited-edition collection of swim shorts combining Liberty’s rich archive of vibrant prints and Boardies' world class quality. These unique designs are made from Repreve recycled plastic water bottles, sustainable materials, and packaging. Each pair comes with a matching Liberty x Boardies bag.
