Handy Inspiration for Planning Your Corfu Stag Do

The stag do is nothing short of a cultural institution in the UK, as grooms-to-be and their diligent groomsmen take to the town – or, indeed, to a far-flung locale – to make the most of those last few days of freedom. In recent years, the Greek island of Corfu has become something of a mecca for stag groups, being the perfect blend of excellent weather, impeccable culture and thriving nightlife. With so much to see and do, analysis paralysis is sure to happen in trying to pick out stag activities. Here, we’ve picked out three potential experiences you and your party can enjoy as part of your final days as a single man.

Before You Go

While flights can be cheap, other associated costs can quickly balloon if not planned out in advance – for example, taxis from the airport to your accommodation can be particularly expensive. Make sure the details of your trip are sorted ahead of time, including an airport transfer to where you’re staying. This will keep the stag smooth and on schedule and ensure that more of your budget can go towards the stuff that matters.

Crazy Speedboat

Corfu’s crystal-clear waters are begging to be explored, and luckily for your stag party, there’s a madcap service that can help you do just that: the Crazy Speedboat. The Crazy Speedboat runs between Corfu and Kavos, zipping you majestically through the Ionian waters and giving you the opportunity to take a dip in the world-famous Blue Lagoon. Snorkelling lessons are also a possibility from the boat, not to mention a tipple or two courtesy of the boat’s onboard champers stockpile.

Quad Biking

If your stag party are more of the land-lubbing sort – or if the idea of rocketing over rushing waves at 75mph doesn’t appeal to the delicate constitution of a group weathering the excesses of the previous evening – maybe a different kind of transport-based activity would suit. To the north of the island, a ‘quad safari’ can take you up and around Corfu’s beautiful countryside, through rural villages and between the olive groves. You can choose to be driven, or to drive your own 250cc quad bike – though wheelies might be frowned upon.

Party Cruising

Being a stag party, the purpose of your trip centres around one essential activity: partying. Luckily, there is no shortage of ways in which you can party in Corfu – and it just so happens that one of the best options for partying can be found on the waters. Unrivalled boat parties just off the coast into the Ionian Sea make the most of their surroundings, with outrageous games alongside excellent music and free-flowing drinks.
