So long Summer, it’s been emotional. Despite the looming decline of the weather from here on out, we’ve entered my favourite season. Autumn brings cosy evenings, beautiful colours and my favourite part, layers! Finally, I can once more enjoy wearing my fragrances under an overshirt or jumper. Enjoying fragrant hits throughout the day, it gets no better! With that, I give you my picks of the best in grooming this September.

Noble Isle Lightning Oak 

Noble Isle is a brand that celebrates the cultural heritage of the British Isles, using extracts from local producers. Lightning Oak is their latest release, featuring English Oak Bark from The Forest of Dean. With dominant notes of vetiver, bergamot and cardamom, Lightning Oak is crisp and invigorating. Personally, I found it perfect in Hair and Body Wash form, however it’s also available as a single wick candle. What a perfect way to welcome Autumn.

Miller Harris Oud Éclat 

Oud Éclat is the latest release from the wonderful British fragrance house Miller Harris. Oud Éclat strikes a fascinating balance between the Agarwood (oud), the sweetness of sugar and green elements of Balsam Fir and Moss. Marigold and Nutmeg add interest and intrigue, whilst leather and cashmere wood add depth and warmth. A few generous sprays of Oud Éclat will be the perfect companion for the upcoming cooler months.

The Other Saint Nourishing Face Wash & Cleanser 

The latest addition to an already wonderful line, is Nourish Face Wash & Cleanser from The Other Saint, a brand that I’ve featured previously and a personal go-to. Featuring key ingredients such as Apricot Fruit Extract, Avocado Oil and Stearic Acid, your skin will feel nourished and hydrated, whilst being suitable for those with sensitive skin. Plus, the aluminium pump sprayer is a great looking addition to your grooming regime.

Fudge Matte Wax Light 

As the name suggests, Matte Wax Light is a lightweight alternative to their ever-popular Matte Wax. Offering a medium hold that can outlast the daily grind and sweaty gym sessions, and being lightweight it makes a great option for anyone with thinning hair, we need to look after what we’ve got, guys. Whatever your style, you’ll be able to re-work your hair throughout the day, making Matte Wax Light a fuss free daily go-to.

BDK Parfums Crème de Cuir 

It’s the age-old story of boy meets fragrance, as it was love at first sniff with this one. Crème de Cuir is a wonderful combination of white suede, vanilla, pineapple, birch and white musk. Crème de Cuir is a soft enveloping leather, it doesn’t shout loudly, but is effortlessly cool and alluring. It’s fresh, it’s creamy, it’s powdery, it’s a suede jacket on someone you really fancy, it’s my new favourite fragrance.

Nivea Men Sensitive Pro 

Nivea are aiming to put the calm back into your grooming routine with their new Men Sensitive Pro range. Each product includes Organic Hemp Seed Oil and Vitamin E, aiding to soothe your skin from the daily grind. The range consists of Ultra Calming Liquid Shaving Cream, Ultra Calming Facial Balm and Ultra Calming Moisturiser. It’s not only the ingredients that are green, as the packaging is made from 97% recycled material, so you’re helping your skin and the environment.
