Mid-season is fast approaching and with it comes a diverse list of weather-based challenges. Ranging from fluctuating temperatures to seemingly at random doses of sun, wind and rain. This increase in unpredictability calls for some clever outfitting to stay comfortable. Fortunately for us this is exactly the kind of conditions which layering thrives in. One of the earliest techniques in the fashion book, the age-old method of putting one thing on top of another, allows the wearer to amalgamate protective properties dependent on climate, whilst also adding lashings of depth to otherwise one-dimensional looks.

Outfit 1 

Incorporating a variety of pieces for an effortless mix of casual sophistication, this first outfit presents a well-rounded ensemble capable of both office and social wear. Having been around for decades, not only are turtle necks an easy ticket to looking extremely suave, but they serve a pivotal role in any man’s winter wardrobe.
