February? Already? 2020 is finally hitting its stride and we should now all have gotten over writing the wrong year down. I still haven't. Unfortunately, the wind's here, the rain's certainly here, but that's no excuse not to be keeping well styled and groomed gents. As always i'm here to introduce you to the latest and greatest grooming drops that will keep you looking your best through the worst the British weather can offer.

Harry's Redwood Shower Gel  

Back in October I included the new shower and hair range from Harry’s. The range included a shower gel available in 3 scents, shisho, fig and stone. The shower gel contains 0% sulphates, parabens or dyes, lathers well and leaves my skin feeling clean every time. Fig was my favourite scent, but now it’s a tough call with the addition of Redwood. With notes of evergreens, sea salt and sandalwood, it’s an invigorating woodsy scent that's perfect for kickstarting the day.

Gents of London  

In search of a traditional barbershop? Gents of London have presence in the capital, close to Angel Islington, Kings Cross, Clerkenwell and Farringdon. In addition to their barbering services, they also offer their own range of styling products. The line is water based and comprises of sea salt spray, carbon clay, design paste and structure cream, and each product has a premium look and feel. Sea salt spray followed by carbon clay was the perfect combination to keep my hair looking good during the recent storms.

Balls  

Manscaping is a sensitive topic for a sensitive area, but Balls have developed a purpose made trimmer that comes with the fantastic “Nick your sack, send it back” guarantee. Balls have not only made a taboo subject light hearted and approachable, but a product that really does work as intended. I can report no nicks were sustained during the research for writing of this article. Better yet, Balls plant a tree for every trimmer sold, and we should all be doing our bit for the environment guys.

Acqua di Parma Barbiere Haircare 

It’s almost a year to the day that I was kindly invited down to London, for the opening of Acqua di Parma’s Barbiere in Selfridges, as well as a first look at their Barbiere product range. Now Acqua di Parma are adding haircare and styling products to the lineup, featuring Mild, Thickening & Illuminating shampoos and Defining Cream, Modelling Clay & Fixing Wax styling products. Horace  Conditioner

Horace have previously featured in a grooming drops article back in September 2019. I’ve managed to get my hands on more of the product line, coinciding with the products now being available on Mr Porter. I was already a big fan of the shampoo offerings from Horace, and i can now happily say that both the Strengthening and Nourishing conditioners have the same level of quality, leaving my hair feeling soft and rejuvenated. The Strengthening features kokum butter and is suitable for all hair types, whilst the Nourishing conditioner features abyssinian oil and is suitable for dry or very dry hair.

Cornerstone  Hair Loss Treatment
