NOVEMBER 2019’S BEST MEN’S GROOMING DROPS
THE BEST RELEASES IN MALE SKINCARE, HAIRCARE AND FRAGRANCE THIS MONTH
Written by Nick Hogan in Grooming on the 28th November 2019
As Autumn slips away and Winter arrives, it’s time to change up your grooming routine. Colder days call for extra attention from your skin and a heavier fragrance to cut through the cool air. Here are my picks of the best grooming products in November 2019.
Cosmydor Petit Baume Rescue
With winter fast approaching, there’s no more important time to look after your skin. Petit Rescue Baume contains shea butter, apricot kernel oil and aloe vera, and has a unique whipped cream-like texture that melts between your fingers and feels incredibly luxurious on your skin. It can be used on your lips, hands, body or face, making it a perfect companion to keep close by during the winter months.
Tisserand x National Geographic
Tisserand Aromatherapy have partnered with National Geographic to show everyone that beauty doesn’t have to cost the earth. With 100% natural ingredients, using 100% recycled plastic and packaged with cardboard that is 100% FSC certified, Tisserand have created an eco-friendly line consisting of three new aromatherapy blends. Retreat, Explore and Paradise are each are available in bath oil, shower wash, mood mist, diffuser oil and roller ball. A travel kit is also available featuring the bath oil, mood mist and roller ball.
Bleu Nomade Antares
Bleu Nomade are a jewellery brand, founded by brothers Andrea and Davide in 2016. Antares is their first fragrance release and embodies the same quality and attention to detail that they put into their jewellery, as well as bearing the name of one of the four Royal Stars of ancient Persia. Antares is a dark and mysterious scent, with prominent notes of incense, cloves and vanilla. The scent is smokey, moody and enveloping, perfect for the winter months ahead.
Bentley Beyond The Collection
Luxury car brand Bentley have introduced Beyond The Collection, their new range of fragrances that take the wearer on a journey around the world and showcase the incredible ingredients from each destination. Exotic Musk takes you to the golden sands of Acapulco, Mexico. Majestic Cashmere takes you to tropical beaches of Goa, India. The final leg of the journey is in Java, Indonesia with Wild Vetiver. With bottles inspired by the headlights of the Continetal GT, Beyond The Collection would make a luxurious addition to your fragrance collection.
& Horace Eau de parfum
After recently discovering the fantastic skincare products from Horace, i'm delighted that they’ve now branched out and released their first fragrance. Featuring top notes of white pepper, rum and bergamot. Mid notes of cedarwood and iris. Then finally base notes of tobacco, sandalwood and tonka bean. The scent is fresh and woody, whilst the depth of the rum and tobacco give the fragrance enough body to cut through the winter air. As an added bonus, Horace include stick on letters, so you can have your name & Horace on your bottle.
Beaufort London Terror & Magnificence
Beaufort London have introduced Terror & Magnificence, the latest addition to the Revenants line. Created by perfumer Pia Long, Terror & Magnificence takes its inspiration from architect Nicholas Hawksmoor, also known as ‘the Devil’s architect’. Beaufort London create fragrances that are challenging yet awe inspiring. The scent is a dark and foreboding combination of papyrus, birch tar and vetiver, and best enjoyed on a cold winter’s day.
