Nomad Roasters' Home

Nomad Roasters’ Home is the Barcelonian home of real coffee. Nomads Roasters’ focus on proper cups of coffee, crafted with care as opposed to big, sugary cups of syrup. The beans at Nomad’s are hand selected, toasted to perfection and served as per order. In addition to supplying the Barcelonian public with great cups of coffee, the staff are also keen to pass on their knowledge and passion to the public with courses on tasting, different coffee preparation methods and even how to roast the good stuff yourself.

Cafés El Magnífico

Cafés El Magnífico is another cafe that takes coffee very seriously. No fancy posters, drinks or displays - it doesn’t even have any tables. Be quick or be prepared to queue; long lines are testament to the quality of the coffee. Magnífico’s beans are sourced from all over the globe, and baristas can tailor a cup just for you. This coffee will make you want to throw your at-home machine out the window.

Satan's Coffee Corner

Go for the name, stay for the coffee. This is the kind of place where travellers can kick back, enjoy the music and just hang out. Satan’s Coffee Corner, despite its name, also does some angelic food - from toast spread with espresso butter, (yes you read that right) and egg salads, to duck sandwiches and even a Japanese breakfast, with rice, omelette, spinach, miso soup! Satan’s Coffee Corner also remineralises the water to create a pH balance perfect for its roasts. Does your barista take that much care?

Ruma’s

Owner Ruma Motrenko has brought her passion for coffee from Russia to Barcelona. In addition to serving up the drink she’s so passionate about, her handmade chocolates are to die for. Some do say that Ruma’s is on the expensive side but believe it, it is completely worth it! The quality is absolutely amazing and not one to miss. Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and keen to pass this knowledge over to anyone who steps into the cafe.

Komo en Kasa

Set in the vivid and interesting neighbourhood of El Raval, Komo en Kasa not only serves fantastic coffee, but also some of the best empanadas outside of Argentina with owner, Gustavo, bringing his national dish to Spain. As the name suggests, Komo en Kasa feels like home, from the staff, to the food to the coffee.
