Woolrich John Rich & Bros steps into the world of footwear with a project that echoes the brand’s values and iconic garments, the Arctic Parka, with a union of outdoor and urban elements. It’s in the contemporary landscape of Berlin and London that the footwear products are portrayed by the imaginary of Highsnobiety, an online publication covering forthcoming trends and news in fashion, art, music, and culture, all on one platform. For the launch of this collection they took care of styling, shooting and video – making, expressing the soul of the collection. The idea for Woolrich shoes came from combining the typical traits of hi-tech outdoor shoes and a contemporary, urban design, bringing sophisticated elements to outdoor models and hi-tech features to city styles.

A crossover range characterised by two soles created exclusively for Woolrich by Vibram, a well-known brand for mountain footwear. Vibram's objective is to allow for the sole to be perceived as a final product capable of significantly characterising the shoe it is mounted on and which can thus be substituted to better performance in a number of varied contexts. By applying the world-famous Vibram soles, every shoe can noticeably increase its performance offering more grip, less weight and more volume. The first model is based on the legendary "carrarmato" mountain sole, while the other features a brand-new sole incorporating the brand's iconic check as a technical element.

The Vibram sole guarantees maximum quality in all conditions and on any terrain with optimal comfort and lightness. Made in Italy with design and attention to detail achieves comfort and lightness through high quality construction and materials. The collection is divided into two model categories: one inspired by the outdoors and the other inspired by the city. From the classic ‘Jogger Running Shoes’ available in different versions, featuring traditional leathers and hi-tech materials, to the traditional 'Mountain Boot', all contemporary footwear classics, revitalised using modern manufacturing techniques. Set to be the iconic model of the collection is the 'Hiker Boot', a fusion between a genuine walking boot and a sole that, even with its hi-tech features, can also be worn in the city, thanks to the special Vibram compound.
