7 Earth Friendly Grooming Brands

If you aren’t already environmentally conscious it’s time you started to care more for our planet. We need our Earth to survive and in recent years, there has been talk of a ban on polyethylene micro-beads that are found in most face and body scrubs and toothpastes. They may do wonders on our skin but they contaminate the oceans, damage our waters, and leave sea life with an unbalance. It’s very important to be eco-friendly these days, and with this in mind we’ve put together a list the standout grooming products you should be using instead of regular products that could be harming our world.

Origins

Origins are making a conscious effort to help our environment by giving away a woven polypropylene tote bag for free, and if you return the bag filled with empty plastic bottles they will recycle all your goods for you. With every tote they give away they also plant one tree too. We recommend trying the All Greens Deep Cleansing Mask.

Bulldog

Bulldog pride themselves of being one of the few vegan brands out there, so are completely cruelty free. The ingredients in their products are all sustainably sourced including natural goodness such as coconut shell or oat kernel and olive which makes a great substitute for microbeads.

Dr Alkaitis

Hair plays an important role in our overall look so using something that stimulates our follicles will be your saviour. Dr Alkaitis produces hair care products that are pure, raw and contains active plant extracts such as Organic Aloe Vera gel, rice protein and horsetail for normal, dry and oily hair. While helping regeneration these products also stimulates blood circulation at the skin and roots for healthy hair.

Dr Bronner

Often brands that claim they do not test on animals directly don’t, however it is often a problem when a third party supplier tests on animals. Dr Bronner has a leaping bunny logo that lets its consumers know all the products are all free from animal testing at every state of production. We recommend trying their Organic Lemongrass & Lime Shaving Soap, which is completely fair trade and made from post-consumer recycled plastic.
