THE TRAVEL GROOMING PRODUCTS WORTH PACKING
PACK LIGHT WITH THESE TRAVEL-FRIENDLY BEAUTY PRODUCTS FOR MEN
Written by Rakelle Maurici in Grooming on the 14th November 2016
We all have that struggle when it comes to packing for just a few days. The aim to not overpack but also not knowing what we may or may not need. With the cost of baggage on flights becoming stricter it’s easier and cheaper to travel with just hand luggage. However, this does mean restrictions on grooming products and liquids. So, to help you out we’ve given you a rundown of the only grooming products you need for a weekend break. As an added tip, we recommend you keep all these products in a toiletry bag so they’re always ready when you need to get up and go.
Eye Cream
When you’re travelling for business or pleasure there’s a chance you’ll be having late nights and early mornings and if there’s one place it’ll show, it’s your eyes. We recommend RoC Retinol Correction Eye Cream, this is a strong in Vitamin A that reduces wrinkles and evens your skin tone. This serum works at night so you’ll want to put it on before bed and wash it off in the morning – it’s ineffective in the day as retinol degrades in the light.
3-in-1 Wash
Let’s all have a moment of honesty, if a man can cut a corner when it comes to grooming, he will. So why carry three products when travelling if you can carry just one that gives the same effect? Try Nivea for Men Active3 body wash, which gives you a clean and fresh finish whist moisturising at the same time. Alternatively, try Jack Black All-Over Wash, packed with a lot of great products but paragons and sulphates have been left it out making it more skin friendly.
Antiperspirant
This item is essential and you can pick one up from the airport if you forget it. However, it’s better to be prepared and pack one that you like and know works. We recommend Recipe for Men, alcohol free antiperspirant which will do the trick to keep you dry all day without leaving white marks.
Hair Pomade
The one hair product which works on most styles is a pomade. It’s light enough to not cake the hair but strong enough to give you a lasting hold. We recommend Hanz De Fuko; this product is is completely water soluble, which means it’s softer and less greasy than its mineral oil predecessors while still giving your hair smoothness and definition.
Moisturiser
Lastly you’ll want your skin to be kept hydrated and fresh, especially if you’ve been in the sun all day. So don’t forget to pack a moisturiser. You can find a list of our favourites by skin type here, however for normal skin we recommend, Face Reviver by Neville. It contains all the best ingredients for an all-rounder and it won’t make your skin greasy whilst still being gentle.
