With such a plethora of pop-up restaurants to choose from these days, it's tricky to know exactly which ones are the best kept secrets. To give us a further insight into which ones are the Dijon mustard and which are the Tesco's own brown sauce, we've teamed up with top London Food Blogger Stacey Smith from Crummbs. Effectively we've let her do all the heavy lifting on this one, but here are the top six Pop-up restaurants, as recommended by one of the best food bloggers in London.

Carousel 

No two days at Carousel are ever the same. As well as slipping their way into the magic circle of Marylebone’s foremost foodie destinations, they’re fast becoming one of London’s most vibrant creative hubs, playing host to an ever-changing line-up of art exhibitions, video installations, film screenings, spoken word poetry, live acoustic sets, theatre workshops, yoga brunches and - of course the odd obligatory opium den, week in week out, upstairs and downstairs. If you’re with a friend we’d recommend getting a selection so you can share. However, everyone sits together on a large central table so even if you’re flying solo you’ll find it super welcoming.

Palm 2  

Palm 2 is an East London institution - a gorgeous space that has a surprisingly stella line up of pop ups (Georgina Hayden, Author of Stirring Slowly hosted one in September) & Sabel was gorgeous in the past. Jimmy Garcia always puts on a good show - he's currently got a Surf & Turf pop-up going on.

Cuisson 

If you have a penchant for Asian food then Cuisson could be right up your dirt track. Their objective is to break down the wall between the kitchen and the diner. It makes for an engaging, interactive evening. Enigmatic chefs plate up each course right in front of you, and you’re actively encouraged to go up, ask questions and generally prod about a bit.

Dinner at the Twits 

Les Enfants Terribles theatre company and ebp are for the first time creating one of Roald Dahl’s titles specifically for adults, in collaboration with delicious gastronomy from Bompas & Parr and the creative wranglers at Creature of London. Their Premium ticket holders will also receive an additional fizz cocktail on arrival, a bar of Mr & Mrs Twits’ choicest chocolate, a hot drink after supper in the Muggle-Wumps Downside Up Cocktail Cavern and a programme including some of Mrs Twits' most distressing recipes. We’re huge fans of Roald Dahl, so it seems fitting to celebrate the Centenary this September with a feast – of sorts.

The Gathering 

London’s first conscious cabaret, The Gathering is a series of evenings which feature live breakthrough artists, existential short films and fascinating Ted-esque speakers, fused with group meditation and felicitous food for those that crave a holistic night out that leaves you feeling uplifted and inspired. This series of events marks a movement towards a freer and cleaner lifestyle, offering an upbeat alternative for those who wish to enjoy a month’s worth of cultural entertainment squeezed into one evening like Cinderella’s golden slipper.

Denim 'N' Dine 

This one is for all the denim geeks out there. Blackhorse Lane Ateliers is the host venue for Michelin-trained Chef Pedro Passinhas' fine dining creations at Denim 'N' Dine. You'll see all the stitching machines, dying equipment and raw denim rolls left exactly how they were when staff clocked off at 5pm that day. Everyone is seated around a long (locally made) Chef's table ready to experience interesting, modern, and quirky food at 7pm on Thurs, Fri and Sat evenings.
