I have it on good authority that the name Jack Black was coined before the popularity of the comic actor. Indeed if you trace the filmography of the actor, he only had a bit part role in The Enemy of the State in 1999, and the brand was founded in 2000. Since it was founded, Jack Black has been voted the number one skincare brand for men in the US. I accrued some samples at a recent event down at Trade Union in London and can say that I'm really happy with the 10 in one oil lotion (Jack Black MP10 Nourishing Oil). I’ve tried so many moisturisers and some can be too thin and greasy - or like the latest one I'm trying that feels too pasty - like I'm applying some kind of polyfilla to my forehead wrinkles.

Jack Black has an extensive range for your grooming tool kit including shaving creams, moisturisers, cleansers, anti-aging, hair care, body care and sun care products - specially formulated for a man's needs. I've made my way through a couple of the samples and can confirm it's true they are fast absorbing and because of the natural scents my face doesn't feel like it's just been apple bobbing in a bucket of meth. I like the product packaging also. I've been informed that the packaging was designed to appeal to a masculine aesthetic, but I wouldn't go so far as saying that I felt masculine looking at it. And that isn't a slight on the design, I actually quite like to not to be moved either way on packaging, I'd rather it speak to me subconsciously and have me click it into the virtual basket without the reptilian side of my brain knowing what is going on - which I think it does abundantly well.
