Introducing Fulwood London

Introducing new street wear brand Fulwood. This is a brand that celebrates great tattoo artistry and believes that a person’s tattoo is a passport stamp, telling us their journey - where they're going and where they've been. Even if the tattoo is more symbolic, there's always a story behind it and Fulwood London look to champion this, celebrate it through their clothing.

“I love tattoos, they’re beautiful, and there is so much incredible tattoo talent here in the UK and I want to showcase and support our artists in any way I can. Sadly, tattoos are expensive so I can’t get as many as I would like so what’s the next best thing? Tattoos on clothes! By showcasing different artists each season not only does the style evolve and keep the collections looking fresh. I get to live out all my tattoo dreams.” - Sarah Burgan, Creative Director.

Their Spring/summer 2016 prints are a unique fusion from the minds of Kirsty Jane Todd of Flamin' Eight Tattoo in Camden and the Rising Tide Tattoo Collective in Bournemouth. The collection introduces the summer elements of yellow and plenty of clean fresh prints. Moving on from last season, the t-shirts are more elongated and Fulwood have now introduced the fleece hoody for those milder nights spent in the beer garden. All items are unisex, including the crop tops (Hey if it was good enough for Sly in Rocky 3... you know what I'm saying).

Fulwood London is the brainchild of creative director Sarah Burgan who whilst working in men’s tailoring was becoming continually frustrated with the lack of opportunities in the industry. Having spent most of her student years doing internships for all areas of the industry, she found herself between two stalls post-graduation. Primarily being over qualified for starting positions and under-qualified for senior rolls. So Fulwood was born in 2015. The new range is available now through their site and each piece will be a great asset to your SS16 wardrobe.
