I had the pleasure of having a private viewing of the Nana Judy SS15 Northern Hemisphere menswear collection, which will be out in the UK sometime next year. This coming season will see Nana Judy take full flight on the UK high street for the very first time. Having monopolised the Australian market with their seamless fusion of urban streetwear and relaxed surfer style, Judy have taken a new step onto the British high street.

The collection is a fluid, cohesive one and it's easy to see how they had taken the Australian scene by storm for 22 years - with stores in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Taking a darker, sombre tone for a Spring/Summer 2015 collection, the use of tie-dye on t-shirts, short-sleeved shirts and shorts was inspired. The use of floral prints throughout was ideal for the summer, but with the dark undertone running throughout the collection, the use of a dark chintz floral print was inevitable. 

The juxtaposition of the dark backdrop against the pink flowers was interesting and cool. Even cooler with the fact floral prints are symbolic of femininity and Nana Judy is the brand for the fashion conscious man.

Their baseball tops are one of my favourite garments in the collection. They're appealing to the street wear loving tomboy within me. Another standout included their sweat-shirts which is something different for the brand, especially with the heat of Australia. 

The frayed hem and zip detailing added edge. It shows how intuitive Nana Judy is to adapt to our inconsistent British weather. Thank you for thinking of us!

The Northern Hemisphere SS15 menswear collection is ideal for men who want to look good. Who care about their appearance and enjoy living life. A progressive but inclusive (YOLO if you will) type. A fun, youthful, exuberant man assured of himself and who wants to show that through his clothes. I know a few men like that.
