Located adjacent to Marylebone station, The Landmark London is one of the capital’s leading five star luxury hotels. Originally opened as The Great Central Hotel in 1899, it is one of the last of the great Victorian railway hotels and comprises 300 guestrooms, inclusive of 51 suites. On arrival you instantly get the feeling that this a true 5 star hotel. The glitz and glamour, the grand entrance which leads into the impressive Winter Garden and staff are on the ball and welcoming.

The atmosphere is calming and due to the large palm trees in sight you could quickly imagine yourself on holiday in a tropical county. 

'It is also worth noting that we take breakfast very seriously and we were not disappointed' 

Located beneath a soaring eight-story glass roof atrium, there is stations and displays of perfectly prepared breakfast options from rice pudding and yoghurt to French toast and full English breakfasts. There was so much on offer we couldn’t possibly try everything (but we gave it a go). There was even a fresh omelette and pancake station - this is how it’s done!

Room 

Our suite was superb and it certainly had the wow factor. It’s the little things which make a big difference in 5 star hotels. The Nespresso coffee machine, the Molton Brown bathroom products, the complimentary dry cleaning service and the generous fruit bowl. Offering some of the largest rooms in London, the average of which is 55 sqm, The Landmark London’s guestrooms span four categories, whilst their suites span six types, providing the most choice of suite options in London.

twotwentytwo Restaurant & Bar 

This restaurant located in the basement has a cool vibe. It’s set against a stylish background of the restaurant's original oak-wood panelling, sculpted ceilings and chandeliers, couples can indulge in cocktails and bubbly, or choose from their extensive fine wine library. In keeping with the informal ambience and as a playful reference to the horse-drawn carriages that once dropped off guests when the hotel was first built, a life-sized black horse lamp by Moooi greets guests as you arrive.

Mirror Bar 

The Mirror Bar is small but the mood and atmosphere is perfect. It feels like a sophisticated speakeasy which serves up some fantastic cocktails with complimentary bar snacks. A jewel box of a bar, it is ideal for pre-dinner cocktails, a late-night drink or for a drink date. This sumptuous bar is reminiscent of the hotel’s Victorian heritage and is so-called as it is finished with a selection of decorative mirrors.

Spa & Health Club 

We lost a good few hours relaxing at The Landmark London’s luxury lifestyle Spa and Health Club. It offers a tranquil urban escape with a full range of exceptional massage and body care therapies from organic Voya range and world-renowned ESPA. One of the leading destination spas in the Capital, it incorporates serence treatment rooms, a 15-metre heated swimming pool, a glass-walled poolside klafs samarium, menthol and sandalwood showers, steam rooms, a whirlpool and a solid gym.
