It can be a nightmare finding the other half something they’ll appreciate for Valentine’s Day, and many of us dread this time of year. We have some great ideas - without the soppiness - for something a little off-the-cuff. Remember, it doesn’t all have to be love-hearts, chocolates and dis-tasteful underwear.
Underwear Gift Set - the key to February 14th is thinking outside of the box; it can become slightly demeaning to receive the same brand of deodorant or chocolates each year. So think about all of those holes in his boxers and socks as you think about buying this Hugo Boss gift set with a luxury pair of both inside. This is one present a man can always appreciate and never have enough of. All with the added bonus that it won’t break the bank too.
Leather Bracelet - you don’t see many men who have a stylish bracelet, but you could make your man the stylish minority. Whoever receives this Vivienne Westwood piece as a present this year, he’ll know he’s got a keeper. The brands signature ornate details are clearly visible from the orb hanging from the looped band, and it has Swarovski crystals encrusted onto the fastening clasp. This is a sophisticated piece of jewellery fit for any occasion.
Reversible Leather Belt - this clever idea allows you to get two esteemed Armani items for one by virtue of its inventive doubled up design. It comes in black and brown along wth a replacement buckle in a completely different style, so you could wear this belt with a range of different outfits without anybody realising it is the same piece.
Rucksack - the rucksack is a hugely popular men’s fashion accessory and this one is the crème de la crème due to its robust and quality canvas finish. It is the ultimate combination of practicality and style so buy this and it will last him for years. Plus, it could come in handy for that trip away he might have booked for you.
Wallet - if you are fearful that the other items are out of your price range then fear not because this stylish everyday wallet by Superdry is affordable and desirable in equal measure. It’s simple design includes compartments for notes and cards along with a press stud for fastening shut.
Beanie Hat - a beanie is a useful item for any man and can be worn or accessorized with hundreds of outfits- plus a man can never have too many - making this an obvious choice for a great Valentine’s day present.
Champagne - in terms of quirky presents it doesn’t get much more impressive than the engraving of your partners favourite alcohol. Engrave a bottle such as Bollinger champagne on one of the many trend setting personalisation websites.
Get Personal - staying on the personalised theme, you could design a card which he can keep or buy some Valtentine’s themed coffee or toast stencils to encrypt his breakfast that morning with a special message.
Day Spa - and finally, men are much more conscious of looking after themselves these days so if you would appreciate some quality time together, there's a huge range of quality spa day packages available for you to both to indulge in.
