A touch of Scottish style has been brought to Florence by Strathberry of Scotland. In the last editions, Pitti Uomo has gone more urban and less classic, focusing its research towards the new entries of fashion, the emerging designers and generally, to all the trends that last for only a few years. 

The 85th edition, named Rock me Pitti, has been a celebration of this research and even the ‘majors’ of tailoring have been involved in the stream of the street, with their buyers and leading figures committed in being photographed and "social-networked" all over the web.

Strathberry of Scotland has been a surprise. The Make Section, a satellite of the classic pavilion dedicated to the best craftsmanship in producing accessories, was the perfect frame for a product that seems just shaped on all the considerations above and, also, that has the power to go over them. 

Both in tweed and leather, the creations by Strathberry of Scotland have the touch of classic – given by a mix of basic shapes and refined details – and the appeal of a trendy must-have. 

The travel bags, the golf bags, the briefcases and the small Leather Goods are carefully designed following the tradition and enriched with the touch of the brand – the surprise is the Music Case.

A very special bag, built up from a vintage prototype discovered by the Creative Director at an antique sale en route to the Grand Opera House in Paris, the Music Case is a redesigned briefcase. 

It has the same capacity but it is lighter and made with softer leather. Its point is in the closure, obtained by crossing one handle with a metal bar. Perfectly in line with the theme of Pitti Uomo, in trend and classic. 

Strathberry of Scotland brought to this fair the right attitude and... a lucky penny in every bag, for safe keeping, safe travels and of course a little bit of luck!
